Developed a consistent branding and messaging strategy for the BBC's commercial technology subsidiary - BBC Technology - and for its product/service range. Produced a comprehensive portfolio of sales and marketing tools including a new website and promotional DVD, printed sales packs and annual reports, product demonstrations on CD-Rom and the company's first email communications campaign.
Results:
Provided secure online access to the tools needed to secure sales. Increased stand traffic at the International Broadcasting Conference by 30% compared to the previous year's show. Created substantial market awareness of BBC Technology and its products and services, which contributed to the company achieving a market value of £150 million when sold to Siemens Business Services in 2004.
