Activity:
Launched a selection of new and re-furbished stores around the UK. Held pre-launch reception evenings for key members of the local community to meet the staff and find out about the new store and its product range.  Arranged opening day celebrations at each store with local celebrities, entertainers, face painting, competitions, highlighted products and special offers.

Results:
Increased local knowledge and gained extensive local press coverage about the stores' existance, location and product range. Recieved positive customer feedback regarding the supermarkets' business ethics and customer service.  Repeatedly outperformed previous records (calculated by store size) for highest ever first day takings and profits.
